Sarah is an independent legal contractor and consults with attorney Jon Sheldon on numerous appellate and post-conviction cases. Sarah’s legal practice focuses on righting constitutional wrongs through litigation at the trial and appellate level. Sarah was an assistant County Attorney in Fairfax for six years. Prior to that she was an assistant federal defender for three years and an assistant Fairfax public defender for two years. Sarah started her legal career clerking for Fairfax judge Arthur Vieregg. She prides herself on clear and concise writing and attention to detail. Sarah is licensed to practice in several courts including the Commonwealths of Virginia as well as the Eastern District of Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeal.
